National Open Mesh Varroa Floor, Deep - assembled and complete, x10

These Varroa Mesh Floors are deeper and therefore stronger than standard floors.

80mm deep giving a 60mm gap between the frame bottoms and the inspection tray. This wide gap minimises the chance of Varroa mites re-entering the hive when the tray is in place.

Includes:

A separate entrance block with reduced entrance to guard against intruders.
Fitted with highest quality 304 Grade acid resistant rust proof woven stainless steel mesh. 8 wires to the inch, 0.5mm wire. This provides the largest open area for Varroa mite drop possible, far superior to expanded steel.
Sliding inspection tray. Designed for easy Varroa monitoring and also designed to provide an adequate closure to the floor needed when applying Varroa treatments such as Apiguard.

All woodwork is knot free untreated solid timber - weather proofing wood treatment is recommended to keep hives dry
