Nucleus Colony, Available Summer, National Bee Hive Standard Deep

These nucleus colonies will be available (dependent on weather) late May/early June - the date above is only a guide.
There is only a limited number available.

Nucleus colonies of honey bees are only supplied for orders with payment made in advance so order before then to avoid disappointment.

Customers who have ordered will be notified by email when colonies are ready to collect - colonies can only be held for 7 days so must be collected within 7 days of this notification. They cannot be held any longer so this is not flexible. Ensure you check your email junk/spam folder. What those dates will be is entirely dependent on nature, the bees and the weather so it is not possible to accommodate collection dates requested by customers. Payment for uncollected colonies is not refundable. Customers with any doubts about their ability to collect should not purchase.

Bees for sale - our Nucleus Honey Bee Colonies are bred in U.K. supplied on a minimum of 5 combs with a U.K. bred laying queen, we do not import. They are supplied ready for transport in an appropriate Nucleus Box which is included in the price. These nucleus colonies are supplied on Standard Deep Hoffman frames suitable for National and WBC hives with a Standard Deep Brood box.

 

We are members of the Bee Farmers Association of the U.K. - the voice of professional beekeeping. Over the years we have passed on hundreds of colonies, helping beginners and beekeeping projects to start their own apiaries.

All livestock is disease checked and in accordance with NBU and FERA guidelines.
