Beekeeping Courses

We have different Practical Courses.

These are provisionally held on Saturday or Sunday throughout the active beekeeping season from April to August inclusive. See Important Notes below.
We post a Gift Card (included in the price) as a ticket for this course which can then be used on any date. We are unable to take payment on the day.

Important Notes: Terms and Conditions.

Naturally, this is dependent on suitable weather (dry with wind <15mph and temp >15ºC) so dates are confirmed when the weather forecast permits - the next available date will be shown on the relevant course page here so bookmark that page and visit again for weekly updates.
We will notify by e-mail, those that have paid, with the next available date when that has been confirmed. Ensure you check your junk/spam folder.
Attendees must reply to that e-mail to confirm attendance, we will give directions in reply (the location is not published on this website).
Full protective clothing is provided on loan included in the price.
Attendees must bring or wear their own suitable footwear (wellington boots).
Attendees must wear trousers - dresses or skirts are not suitable.
Children (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult. This course is not suitable for children under 12.
Attendees must be aware that bees can sting.
Courses are held outside in an agricultural field without facilities (no toilets).
Standing for the course duration and walking across an agricultural field is required.
Courses can be in hot weather, attendees must bring their own drinking water if required.
Dogs are not permitted.
