Nucleus boxes and bee hives are versatile pieces of equipment to have in the apiary - essential during the active season with a long list of uses for them as travel boxes for colonies and swarm collection as well as for queen rearing, mating and introduction. Our Nucleus Boxes are made to be lightweight and easily transportable for use throughout the summer. Our 6 Frame Bee Hives are made with all the same features as a full size National hive so extra boxes can be added to house a full colony - ideal for overwintering or for those avoiding excessive weight lifting. Our 5 Frame 1/2 Bee Hives and 3 Frame 1/3 Bee Hives are made so they can be used independently or together with full size bee hives - ideal for queen rearing, nucleus colonies or those avoiding excessive weight lifting.
